VDK-1250-F
VDK-1250-F is a FLEXIBLE unit that allows the user to use multiple spindle + configurable rouge (SCR) modules and compose a system with respect to specific customer technology needs. Examples of operations composition that may be accommodated with VDK-1250-F are:
- Lapping and inside pre-polishing operation on the same platform
- Sequential grinding using multiple tools (200,300,400 grit may be sequentially deployed for inside and outside operations
- Contour grinding with Scotch Brite and/or BearTex wheels
- Multi-stage platinum ring polishing (NK4000 and Alox5 sequenced or Alox5 and Blue Picasso may be paired)
- With dedicated fixturing, may be configured to process parts other than rings (such as Victoria settings)
- ………any other ring processing combinations that customer needs installed on the same robotic platform

- Up to six configurable rouge stations combined with spindle motors (SCR)
- 360 degree 7-th robot axis

- Has 4 slide-in/slide-out ring trays with 140 ring capacity total

- Capability to accept externally created path files that will allow for processing of complex ring shapes.
